Welcome to Lost Coast San Soo in Eureka, California! We are a family-oriented martial arts school keeping a relaxed and laid-back environment. Entire families are encouraged to join, with children as young as four years old welcome to begin their martial arts journeys. We are accessible to you wherever you are in life and your various abilities. Our doors are open for everyone in a clean, fun and professional environment. About This School
About Our School
Our goal at Lost Coast San Soo is for students to get 1% better every day however they please. We support this with our encouraging environment where your growth is celebrated. All classes start with task specific movements and warm-ups. Kids class will always include game based learning, while our adults learn by doing. While we love San Soo and want to show you what makes it so special, the art is second to making our students feel accomplished and positive after every class. We strive to provide young kids and families a place to have fun together while being productive. Join us for a wholesome and authentic training experience at Lost Coast San Soo!
History
Owner and founder Tim Macias opened the doors in August 2023, bringing Kung Fu San soo to Eureka and Northwest California . Tim has always loved teaching and watching people get better. His passion led him to coach martial arts, team sports and even yoga; culminating in the opening of his own studio in the Lost Coast. He brought with him years of experience; training since he was 17 and honing his skills in California, Europe and Thailand. His experience has taught him everyone has their own pace and is constantly adjusting his teaching style for students. Tim strives to become a community hub for anyone who needs us.

More Than Martial Arts – A Place to Grow
A large portion of who we work with are families. Siblings, parents, etc. can all come in and find the right training experience for them together in our doors.
Students are met with an upbeat attitude inside our school. As they continue to improve, we uplift and push them to get even better.
We ensure our students enter our environment in top shape. Students can train with us without worrying about the area around them being dirty or grimy.
We make every student feel like a million bucks with each new accomplishment. Each 1% improvement is something to celebrate as our students continue to shine.
Our main objective at Lost Coast San Soo is for each student to find self improvement. Rather than focusing on making them great fighters, we make everyone a better person on and off the mat.
No matter where you are physically we are ready to help you. We go through the basics in our training so you can be more physically sound for activity on and off the mat.
